Our Story

My name is Melissa Cherry, and I am so excited to welcome you to True Orange Boutique! Our story in Clemson began as All Inspired Boutique, a special boutique started in Johns Creek, GA in 2012. We opened our doors in Clemson in 2017. All Inspired is all about goodness, grace, and loving our customers well! After many years of traveling back and forth, and surviving the challenges of retail during the pandemic, It was time to put deeper roots down in the Clemson area. 

My history in Clemson already runs deep, with a grandfather and father who are Clemson graduates. My sophomore year, I met my future husband Walt at a Kappa Delta and Pi Kappa Phi mixer on Norris Hall. We got married the weekend after we graduated from Clemson and found our home for raising our kids in the Johns Creek, GA area. When I started All Inspired, our two children were in middle school. Fast forward to 2022- our son Bennett just graduated from Clemson and is engaged to his Clemson sweetheart, Bree. Our daughter Caroline is a senior at Clemson majoring in visual arts, and I am so excited to have more time to work with her on special products at True Orange! Our children were truly raised on orange, and it has been such a blessing to see them follow their dreams at Clemson!

Our new story with True Orange Boutique includes all the same goodness, grace and love we shared at All Inspired, with an orange twist! I am excited to do more to celebrate and give back to the Clemson community that we love, and to create more unique products that can only be found at True Orange. 

This girl whose blood truly does run orange, is honored and excited to share so much new goodness with you at True Orange Boutique. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve this community in new and special ways as we partner with the ClemsonLife program and more local artists. Thank you for your support during my journey at All Inspired, and on this new one at True Orange. I have felt God’s hand in every part of my story and will continue to give Him all the glory in this new chapter.
